Secondly, let me make this very clear: we are not responsible for this bleeding edge version screwing up your blog!
Now of course it’s pretty unlikely that there will be anything majorly wrong with it (I’m using it here on my site for example)
and that even if there is, the worst that could happen is that it stops your blog from loading
and you just need to deactive the plugin or delete it’s file via FTP. Your blog won’t be permanently screwed up though or
anything like that.
Anyway, with that said, feel free to download and install this version. We need it to be tested and it should work just fine now…..
Installation Instructions:
1. Backup your blog files and database (just incase and it’s a good thing to do from time to time anyway).
2. Deactivate WeatherIcon on your plugin management page.
3. Delete the WeatherIcon folder in /wp-content/plugins/
4. Download the latest version and upload it to your plugins folder. Make sure to keep the file structure intact.
5. Re-activate WeatherIcon.
6. Visit the options page (Options -> WeatherIcon) and see how purdy it is.
7. Set a default location. Set the long/lat too if you’d like the sunrise/sunset to be accurate.
